How to Upload Photo to Vaccine Certificate

The Vaccination Certificate Verification Application (VCV) is a Malaysian Government application to verify the COVID-19 vaccination certificate issued by the Malaysian government and the vaccination certificates of other countries recognized by the Malaysian government. VCV users can verify the vaccination certificate by scanning an optical QR code displayed on the application or a certificate downloaded as an electronic document or printed on paper.

The user can also verify the vaccination certificate based on QR code and its QR code copy by using app or the website https://malaysiaindustry.mysejahtera.gov.my/. In addition, users can save the vaccination certificate to one of the available application library.

How to Apply?

Apply for Certificate Verification by Self-Serve

Users can also apply for vaccination certificate verification by self-service by selecting “Vaccination Certificate Verification Application (VCV) Application” and "Verification" from the category “Services”. Users can select the county where the application is to be applied for (on a per application basis), select the day(s) and click the "Apply" button. A message will pop up with a unique QR code which needs to be scanned with the application installed on the smartphone or the relevant QR code copy.

It is only possible to apply for the VCV on a per application basis as the whole application needs to be done on a smart device (smartphone or a tablet).

Provide medical information

Users are required to provide a medical history with the vaccination certificate verification application and this information will be verified. Users can provide only the date of vaccination (normally in month) with no details about the vaccination except the date of vaccination.

Generate Verification Code

Users can choose to send the verified vaccination certificate verification code generated by the application by SMS, mobile number, email address, or clipboard input.
